Stuffed Toys Since establishing JCW Bears and Furry Friends in 2000, I have created unique, handmade stuffed toys to order. From character dressed teddy bears to dogs, cats and woodland animals, I have hand-crafted a wide range of lively, charming creations and regularly receive commissions from around the world.
Whether you'd like to give an individual gift to a loved one, or pay tribute to a beloved pet, I can create a beautiful stuffed toy to your specification. I'm a self-taught artist and have been very creative in my art for more than 27 years.
Working with mohair, Alpaca and similar luxury faux furs, using high quality components including glass eyes, polyester fibre filling, loc-line/wire armature and wooden jointed disks, I have brought my clients' ideas to life.
Whether you would like a character dressed teddy bear or a realistic soft cat or dog sculpture, I can deliver your requirements. I have been approached by TV and stage production companies on several occasions with commissions for realistic dogs and cats.
I have received very positive feedback from my clients who have commented on the character, artistry and lifelike qualities seen in my work! I have won numerous awards and was delighted to win first prize at the National Teddy Bear Artist Awards earlier this year.
Please note that my soft sculptures are not suitable for children under the age of 14 years, due to their glass eyes and metal components
